Regional - Microsoft is bolstering its Asia operations with two senior level appointments for its Singapore and Asia Pacific ops.
Jessica Tan (pictured), current managing director for the global IT firm's Singapore operation, has risen up to take on a regional role.
Tan will be now tasked to lead Microsoft's Enterprise business in Asia Pacific as general manager, driving growth in one of the company's largest business segment.
In her role, Tan will be responsible for driving the company's partner strategy and customer engagement for the company's customer solutions.
She will also be in charge of growing Microsoft's presence in over 12 markets in Asia to achieve a strong growth over the next three years.
Tan will report to Alvaro Celis, vice president at Microsoft Asia Pacific.
Additionally, her existing role will be taken up by Helene Auriol, who joins the Singapore team from the France office.
Both appointments will take effect from 1 September to ensure a smooth handover.
